Casa Ansite is a cosy studio with a big terrace in the middle of an small palm oasis in Rosiana, at the heart of La Caldera de Tirajana. This is a totally renovated studio within a small eco-farm with a water recycling plant and powered with solar energy. The land is planted with olive and other fruit trees. From its windows you can appreciate the beauty of the surrounding mountains: Pico de Las Nieves, Risco Blanco and La Fortaleza. Equipment for <2yr kids can be provided (cot, chair, etc)
We are a Canarian/Belgian family. Alfredo is a Biologist from Gran Canaria and Jill is a Social Worker from Antwerp. We love nature & farming, and like to travel around.
This is an authentic location where you can taste the real flavor of rural Gran Canaria, away from the busy touristic centers. The studio is located just 30km from GC Airport, and 30km from las Dunas de Maspalomas. In 1-2km range there are several restaurants providing local food and several shops. Public swimming pool (shown in pictures) is open for summer season. Nearby, there is the Museo de la Fortaleza and several hike tracks (Caminos Reales) connecting beautiful natural hallmarks.
