Delightful 1950s family home in the French Chateauesque style, boasting large gardens and situated in the centre of Olot (Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park). Recently refurbished for greater comfort. Unbeatable location in a peaceful area just 3 mins on foot from Olot’s historical centre, restaurants, markets and a pharmacy. Spacious country house with dining room, living room, TV room with chimney, large kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 1 double suite with balcony, 5 bathrooms and a library all distributed over 3 floors. Large patio with breath-taking views and access to the enclosed garden, which is ideal for children and features a small, shallow pond and barbeque area. Ample parking for several cars. The whole house must be rented as a single unit and the entire property is for our guests’ exclusive use.
Ideal for families with children, hiking and mountain enthusiasts, and small groups of friends or tourists. Fantastic for relaxing in pleasant, comfortable surroundings.
Enjoy exploring the nearby Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, which boasts volcanoes and La Fageda nature reserve. Visit medieval towns (Besalú and Santa Pau). Discover Castellfollit de la Roca (a village sat on a cliff carved out by two rivers), Banyoles lake, the old Jewish quarter of Girona and the Dalí Theatre and Museum in Figueres, amongst other local attractions. Only 30 mins from Torremirona Golf and Spa Resort, 1 hour from the beach (Cadaqués, Empuriabrava, L'Escala or Begur) and 1 hour from Vallter 2000 ski resort.
