A modern comfortable house with stunning views of the Sierra Nevada. Located in the picturesque village of Guejar Sierra. Sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 double and 1 twin bedroom. The house has 2 bathrooms one with a bath and one with a shower. The open plan kitchen / dining / living room leads out on to a beautiful sunny terrace with spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada. Central heating throughout and aircon for the hotter months. Free parking in the private garage. Wifi included. The house is located very close to the village, but it is a steep hill up to the house from the village, so not suitable for anyone that has difficulty walking.
I'm English but have lived in Granada province for over 20 years, I like to travel, hiking, horse riding, skiing, socialising with friends, eating out. I live locally so will be on hand for anything you need during your stay.
Guejar Sierra is situated in the Natural park of the Sierra Nevada mountains of Andalucia. The accommodation is a just a 3 minute walk (but down a steep hill) into the centre of the village where you will find plenty of lively bars, restaurants, shops and amenities. An ideal base for relaxing, skiing, snowboarding, walking, biking , horse trekking. Just 30 minutes drive to the historic city of Granada and 35 minutes from the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort The village has an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and cafes with sunny terraces in the summer and roaring fires in their cosy interiors in the winter. Nearby, within walking distance, there are some wonderful restaurants along the old tram line and the river, perfect for cooling off in the hotter months. We recommend that you take a hire car from the airport (Malaga 2hrs, Granada 45 mins) . You have your own parking in a private garage at the house. There is a regular bus into Granada, just 30 minutes away for day trips.
