Hacienda La buena vida is a converted cortijo. We live here and rent out two rooms and two apartements la bruja en almendras. It radiates an atmosphere of romance with a Burgundian touch. The view is fantastic. The mountains with the mountain "the reclining Indian" in the distance, the surrounding nature, the birds that come to drink from the pool, the multicolored insects, the silence, the magnificent sunsets make Hacienda La Buena Vida a place where time stands still. stands and enjoys
Hola, we are Geertjan and Inge, your hosts. In March 2020 we took the step to move to Spain after 30 years of working in the care of the disabled. We have always done our work with a lot of love and pleasure. Our great hobby was to travel in our spare time. That's how we ended up in Andalucia once. We fell in love immediately, especially the interior. The mountains, nature, babbling brooks, beautiful white villages, history, culture and you name it. From there we started looking for our place "Hacienda La Buena Vida" or farm the good life. We found this in algarinejo, and we would like to share this paradise with others
In the surroundings of algarinejo you have several walking routes. In the village itself there are several restaurants, bars and 2 supermarkets. The tourist office houses a cave that one can enter. Montefrio is 15 kilometers away and is in the top 10 of the most beautiful views of national geography. Priego de Cordoba is a town with beautiful parks and a castle. The lost village of Cesna, a half hour drive from the cortijo, is also very beautiful. If you want to spend an afternoon at the beach, but do not have to drive too far away, Iznajar is a nice alternative in half an hour. Major cities such as Malaga, Granada and Cordoba are easily accessible.
