Santa Cruz is a bright and cheerful city. Its streets, promenades and seaside avenues invite you to enjoy the fresh air, walks and parks, as it has an average annual temperature of 21.2ºC. In the city centre there are many lively pedestrian areas, where shopping is a pleasure, especially because of the ease of finding products from all over the world. The most important historical buildings coexist with great contemporary architectural works, such as the Auditorio de Tenerife "Adán Martín", designed by Santiago Calatrava, located just a few metres from the house. Several museums are equally close by, including Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (TEA) and the Museum of Nature and Man.
