Lots of people may have a loose understanding of the concept of customer service, but we actively promote it. Very simply, the needs of our guests come first. End of.
That's why more than half the guests in our busy little hotel just keep on coming back. We could bang on about the astonishing views, the great and seasonal food, the cool decor and so on, but it's more than that ..... it's the human factor.
Bit odd to find keen windsurfers in the mountains, but that's our thing, I suppose. Cycling too, and skiing, as well as trekking. Also history and poetry, languages, politics and an unhealthy compulsion to follow the results of Blackburn Rovers. Add perhaps an even more unhealthy interest in wine and fine food.
If we could market silence as a commodity then we'd be made for life. That and big, empty spaces where the scale of things reminds you of your own insignificance. And things move sloooowly here. It's old. Think of London, then think of its antithesis in every single detail. Though we do have wifi...
