Puerto Banús is the sparkling heart of Marbella’s coast: a glamorous marina where yachts line the quays and café terraces face the water. Sunset strolls here are a favorite—soft light, window-shopping, tapas and cocktails. By day you’ll find calm, family-friendly beaches, easy cycling on the seafront path, and plenty of places for an unhurried lunch. From your apartment you can dip in and out of the scene with ease: Puerto Banús is about 7 minutes by car (around 6 km). Marbella Old Town is a must. About 10–15 minutes by car, its whitewashed lanes open onto tiny squares filled with orange trees, balconies, and bougainvillea. Start in Plaza de los Naranjos, visit the Church of Santa María de la Encarnación, then wander the cobbled streets for artisan shops, gelato stands, and classic tapas bars. From the Old Town, walk down to Avenida del Mar to see the open-air sculptures and reach the promenade. Food highlights run from beach to town. Along Playa Nueva Andalucía, chiringuitos such as Mistral Beach and La Siesta serve grilled fish, paellas, and salads right on the sand. In town, BREATHE offers modern Mediterranean plates and leafy terraces; La Sala is a sociable spot with music; Vovem is known for dry-aged steaks. In season, La Sala by the Sea and Ocean Club bring the signature beach-club vibe with sunbeds and DJs. Golfers are perfectly placed: Aloha Golf Club is about 3 minutes by car, with the wider Golf Valley all around. Tee times, lessons, and rentals are easy to arrange—and just as easy to return afterward for a swim. Back at the residence, the pools invite a quiet reset; in winter, one pool is heated, so a dip is still on the cards after a day out. Culture adds balance to beach days: the Ralli Museum between Banús and Marbella shows contemporary Latin American art in a calm, light-filled setting, and the Villa Romana de Río Verde displays Roman-era mosaics a short walk from the sea.
