It is a typical village house that we have been rehabilitating and improving little by little, it keeps the architectural essence of the farmhouses and animal care of the last century, but with the improvements in terms of necessary comfort. In particular we chose to dedicate the house to rent it for the excellent views that it has to the mountains of the Natural Park of the Subbética, for its situation, although it is inside the village, it is located in the upper part, very close to the mountain, in a very quiet area, and the patio and the elevated pool give a plus of intimacy and recreation very pleasant, both in winter and in summer.
I live in the Subbética cordobesa. Dedicated almost exclusively to rural tourism since 2000. I love music, hiking, traveling, and everything related to culture in general. the houses that I manage are a bet to recover the tourism in village , in contact with the nature and the people of the place.
Reasons to visit Zagrilla Alta The origin of this village of the municipality of Priego de Cordoba must be sought in the tenth century, in an alqueria or Arab village located in these lands. Less than an hour and a half from Cordoba, Granada and Malaga capital, Zagrilla Alta belongs to the municipality of Priego de Cordoba, and is located in the region of the Subbetica Cordobesa. The splendor of the region and the landscape of Andalusian olive trees, create the ideal place to enjoy a holiday of rest, sun and nature. Zagrilla Alta counts among other specific attractions with an inexhaustible source of crystalline water that rises from the rock giving name to the river Zagrilla, flanked in turn by a public washhouse still in use, where the people of the place wash in a traditional way preserving a social rite in danger of extinction. Its streets irregularly skirt the mountains, following the Arab model of construction (white village with whitewashed facades, nooks and crannies, discretion on the outside, floral exuberance in the interior patios).
