Company information

Nights of Northern Lights is a two-family small business founded in 2019 that offers accommodation services and activity equipment rental. We rent various experiential accommodations, such as cottages with or without a jacuzzi, a glass igloo in the middle of nature and a luxury caravan next to beautiful landscapes. In addition to accommodation, we rent activity equipment, such as electric bicycles and skiing and camping equipment, as well as canoes. We operate in the northernmost village of Finland and the EU, Nuorgam, where you pretty sure can see the northern lights due to low light pollution. The company's strengths are e.g. customer care and good local expertise. We want to consider each customer's needs individually and strive to meet them as best as possible, and we keep our accommodation clean and tidy and well equipped.

Property information

A cozy and well-equipped cottage next to Tenojoki and the fells of the Kaldoaivi wilderness. Beds for 2 + 2 persons. A terrace with a gas grill, outdoor furniture and a private outdoor jacuzzi. Magnificent river views, camping opportunities and northern lights await you outside. The cottage is entirely for the customers' own use and has a sauna, laundry room, washing machine, one sleeping alcove, sofa bed, kitchen, living room and toilet, fireplace, and a terrace with outdoor jacuzzi and outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels and final cleaning are included in the price. Fireplace and sauna wood are included in the price. If necessary, bathrobes and slippers for an additional fee.

Neighbourhood information

The accommodation is located on the bank of Tenojoki. From the cottage's backyard, on the other side of the road, the Kaldoaivi wilderness begins, with great opportunities for hiking, for example. Nuorgam is the northernmost village in Finland and the EU. During the winter months, the Northern Lights can be seen three nights out of four.
