Arctica is a well-equipped, comfortable apartment with an ideal location in the centre of Saariselkä resort. It is very easy to reach by bus from Ivalo airport, or by bus from Rovaniemi. If you have a car, you can park it right outside the apartment. All services of Saariselkä are within a walking distance. You can get on the cross-country skiing tracks, as well as walking paths or cycling trails, straight from the apartment. The ski bus stops 100 meters from the apartment and runs a circular route to the ski lifts and to the top of Kaunispää fell all day, allowing you to hop on and hop off with the day ticket. The apartment has two bedrooms with twin beds, one downstairs and another upstairs. In addition, there are two beds in the open space upstairs. The space can be used as the third bedroom but it has less privacy. There is a living room, kitchen, bathroom, sauna and toilet downstairs. The kitchen is equipped with all dishes, utensils and cutlery you need for cooking and dining. There is also a fireplace and wood to burn.

Welcome to Saariselkä! Our family has had this apartment in Saariselkä for 30 years and we have spent countless wonderful holidays here. Our children have enjoyed playing in the snow, downhill skiing and snowboarding, roasting sausages on open fire in the wilderness, and tobogganing. The toboggan run from the top of Kaunispää is over a kilometre long!

Saariselkä is the best place to visit in Lapland if you enjoy cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing or trekking. The Urho Kekkonen National Park has lots of trails and paths to explore. This vast national park extends Eastwards from Saariselkä through the wilderness all the way to the Russian border. In the winter nights it is possible to see the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis) and in the summer you will enjoy the Midnight Sun. The autumn foliage in September is absolutely stunning.
