Weather you are in the area to enjoy nature or to explore the well known towns/villages Ireneborg in Tenala is a good starting point. The cottage has a kitchen, living- and bed room, an indoor toilet and shower. There is a garden surrounding the cottage. The front garden is open and you can see other nearby houses, the back garden is made more private with a hedge surrounding it. This is also where the sauna is situated. One sauna visit per stay is included in the price. If you want to enjoy the sauna more than once an extra fee is applicable. You can easily make day trips to Fiskars, Ekenäs, Hangö or Mathildedal. We are happy to gives tips regarding things to explore in the area. If you have any questions or request, prior or during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us. Welcome to Ireneborg.
If you contact us prior to your stay, you are most often writing with me, Josefine. I grew up just next to Ireneborg, now I am living in the Netherlands. I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Welcoming you at the location is most often my father, Kjell. He will show you around and heat/prepare the sauna for you. In case of any questions regarding the cottage he will be there to help you.
In the center of the village you find a Sale (grocery store), two restaurants (both open primarily for lunch) and Frimans, a store selling everything you need for gardening to gifts and cheese. We recommend buying produce (berries, potatoes, vegetables, meet) from the local farmers, feel free to ask for tips where you can find what produce when you check in.
