It is about 25 min from the airport, and 30 min from Helsinki center by car. Supermarkets are just 5 min away by car. Able to fit up to 4 persons (double bed on the loft + separate bedroom). Woods to sauna are included, hot tube (spa) for additional request and charge. Come and enjoy the Finnish countryside and take a break from the city life. Cabin gives you a relaxed and clean atmosphere. Hiking paths offer a typical Finnish forest with a nice viewpoint to the lake nearby. Lake has a beach that is about 2 km away. A car is recommend but you can take a taxi or Uber from Kivistö train station. In Kivistö you can do your grocery shopping and the ride is 15 min around 30 eur. The cottage has central heating and an air heating pump/air conditioner. There is amazing air quality due to log structure. There are a wood-burning sauna and a fireplace, woods are included. Making a fire requires compliance with the instructions. There are nice hiking track just behind the cabin. During the winter you can actually have a cold dip in the pond located next to the cabin and then enjoy the sauna. The hot tub is available year around for additional charge. The water is always changed when a new quest is arriving and if you are bathing more than one day chemicals is used. Safety gate for young ones is installed in the stairs to the loft. Quiet neighborhood, nice small hiking path to the forest. Lake Valkjärvi is close by. Cabin is located on the same property where the host lives. The best way is to arrive with a car or taxi. Closest shops are in Klaukkala, you will find all necessary things there. Please park your car beside the garage, not on the grass. See the 5 hidden gems of Nurmijärvi are Rajamäki Flak towers, Nukari rapids, Myllykoski hiking and rapids, Kuhakoski waterfall and Sääksjärvi clear water lake.
