After years of planning, we have created Skyfire Village, located in one of Lapland’s rare untouched areas. We are happy to be involved in making Lappish tourism even more versatile. We are honoured to provide Lapland visitors with a service that lets us responsibly offer you experiences related to silence, pure nature and solitude, combined with a touch of luxury, in an unparalleled location. Our village can accommodate 10 people at once, and Skyfire Igloos are for two people. You can experience the village as a group, family, couple or alone. Since we’re in the wilderness, our services are unfortunately not suited for babies or older individuals with poor health. It’s important to us that we can produce these services in accordance with our values. Ecological sustainability, closeness to nature, and environmental friendliness are important values that guide our operations. The igloo village has been created by combining luxury with wilderness life. We want to make your visit unforgettable. Igloo accommodation with privacy in the middle of Arctic nature. Unique feelings and authentic memorable experiences are waiting for you. This property offers you authentic Lapland at its best! LOCATION: The Igloo Village has been created in a unique location which is rare even for Lapland. We are located outside of growth centres and mass tourism areas, in a secluded location. Still, there is only a 45-minute drive from Rovaniemi Airport. You’ll be able to experience a special retreat holiday. It’s magical how there’s no light pollution in the area. This lets us provide our guests with one of the best places in the world to see the northern lights and Lapland’s starry sky at their brightest. After booking, you will receive a booking confirmation with detailed instructions on how to arrive at the Village. Because we are really in the wilderness of Lapland, you can't get all the way to destination by car. However, you can get to the vicinity of the village by car, where our staff is waiting for you and the rest of the trip is a sled ride - pulled by snowmobile. The sled ride lasts ca. 10 minutes. As our customer, you’ll be able to enjoy the spectacular Lapland landscape already on your way to the village. There are also transfers to the village from the center of Rovaniemi every day, so if you wish, you can order a transfer after booking. IGLOOS: From each igloo, there are serene and calming views to the lake, nature and the Northern sky. Our Igloos are well-equipped and combine modern Nordic design with the best natural materials. From your comfortable bed, you have a clear view of the sky, which takes admiring the northern lights and the stars on a whole new level! In front of the large panoramic window, there are two comfortable designer armchairs and a table. The atmospheric fireplace keeps the temperature of the igloo just right. During your stay, you can wash up in the Sauna in the traditional Lappish way. Each Igloo has its own toilet, but no shower.

MEALS: Idyllic hut restaurant, located in the village, offers enjoyable moments with foods and drinks made from local ingredients. Our professional chef has tailored a delicious menus for our guests, consisting of traditional Lappish food and culinary delicacies. You can order breakfast, lunch, three-course dinner and evening snack for your trip. The meals are prepared in the Lappish way an open fire in our restaurant. Meals must be ordered in advance before your stay after booking. You can also bring your own food to our village and there is an option to store foods in the refrigerator. Please note, that the preparation of food is only possible an open fire (no kitchen). If you order our meals, you don't necessarily have to bring your own food. The hut restaurant is open until late, offering our guests the possibility to get together. You can also purchase hot or cold beverages from our restaurant and enjoy them in the restaurant by the campfire, or in the privacy of your igloo. Selection includes beverages ranging from hot cocoa to champagne. During the stay, guests can move freely around the igloo village and in the nature around the village. Guests can spend time in the restaurant located in the area, as well as in their own igloo. Only guests who have booked accommodation have access to the village. Guests also have access to a building in the village with a fridge and the possibility to eat their own food.
