Mark and I are a sociable couple who'd be quite happy to have a drink or meal with our guests. We of course would respect the privacy of guests to allow them to enjoy their break away. We do not speak French but will try to hold a conversation, generally referring to Google translate

The gite is a converted two bedroom, both on suite, granite barn in the countryside. It has a large lounge with patio doors, opening out onto your own private garden area, overlooking woodland. The kitchen has a large log burner, dining table, fridge freezer, electric hob and cooker, microwave, coffee makers and plenty of storage. No washing machine. We do not have TV, only dvds. Free Wifi is accessible in the gite. This property is adjacent to our campsite, where naturism is possible. Please note the gite is granite and can get chilly during the winter months. We do provide, wall heaters and free standing heaters. During the winter months, upon arrival the log fire will be set for you and a bin of logs ready for your use. For additional wood there will be a charge of five euros per bin. The pool is open May to September from 10.00 am to 22.00 hrs the jacuzzi is open all year. Both are shared facilities All children 10yrs and under are to be superivsed by an adult at all times whilst in the pool area. From 20.00hrs each evening the polytunnel is an adult only area.

St Michel De Montjoie - A quiet hamlet in a secluded village If you're looking for local shops and a place to grab a snack or two. The closest available to the gite is the bakeryand bar/ mini shop in Gathemo and a small parade of shops in St.Pois. They are open most days and have a good range, from your morning croissants and baguettes to fresh fruit, vegetables, wine, cider, beers and traditional French foods. Nestled amongst country walks and picturesque landscapes is one of the villages few local attractions the Park Museum of Granite which is a fascinating place to learn about the local area and it's history.
