The Saint-Michel district is part of the protected historical sector and is organized around the Saint-Michel Basilica, flanked by the Saint-Michel spire. Nearby, the Place des Capucins, a place of reference and a true Bordeaux institution, is the largest market in the city of Bordeaux. It has a history of several centuries and symbolizes the tradition of local commerce. Early risers will appreciate a trip to the Capucins market.
