After many years abroad, I returned to Paris. I love Paris! And I work here. I also needed nature and calm to balance the intense pace of the capital. This house is a haven of peace and renewal. I set up a small ceramics workshop there.

Property information

You will be staying in a former farmhouse of the Château du Piple, where Madame de Pompadour used to stay. The house is part of a 3.5-hectare co-ownership, nestled in the middle of 110 hectares of woodland, just 17 km from Paris. Fallow deer roam there peacefully... It's a unique, magical place! The house is comfortable and warm, ideal for gatherings with family or friends. The spaces are large enough to share moments together or for everyone to go about their business. In the kitchen, there is a period piece of furniture where the horses' saddles were stored. In the living room, there is a wood-burning stove and a piano. Just beyond, there is a relaxation and fitness room with a ping-pong table, sauna, and shower. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms ranging from 25 to 35 m² (270 to 370 sq ft) and a large landing with a 25 m² (270 sq ft) bedroom area separated by curtains. Outside, the grounds are home to dozens of century-old trees. The train station is a 12-minute walk away, and Paris is a 30-minute RER ride away.

Neighbourhood information

Around the house, there's still nature where you can go hiking, jogging, or cycling. Nearby, Boissy-Saint-Léger and Sucy-en-Brie are starting to feel like small provincial villages. Markets on Saturdays and Sundays. Shops are less than 1 km away. An excellent bakery is 200 m away. Quick access to Paris, Disneyland Paris, and the airports.
