Enveitg is a municipality in the Eastern Pyrenees, 29km southeast of Pas-de-la-Case (Andorra) and bordering Spain to the south. Its territory is 30km2 and it belongs to the historical and cultural region of Cerdanya.
The village lies to the south, on the edge of the Carol valley and at the foot of the Carlit massif to the north.
It is doubly served by rail; it is connected to Perpignan and Toulouse by the regional train and is the terminus of the Yellow Train that serves Cerdanya from Vernet-les-Bains.
The locality has typical medium and high mountain landscapes. It is covered with natural environments, areas devoid of vegetation, but also meadows and forests.
Close to renowned tourist centres and major tourist attractions (Andorra, Puigcerdà), it is noted for its hiking trails.
