You will have access to a private parking space assigned to the apartment during your stay. Pets are well accepted in this accommodation. The apartment is ideally located: - 5 minutes walk from the port. To go to the port: at the exit of the residence, take the path on the right and along the residences, then turn left, you arrived at the port. - Near the island of GAOU and Bandol. - 30 min drive from Cassis. Enjoy the exceptional beauty of Sanary-sur-Mer by taking boat trips to the islands and creeks. If you like to stroll through the markets, the Sanary market is available every Wednesday which is 5 minutes walk from the apartment. This market is voted the most beautiful market in France. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to discover the must-see sites that make the city famous, such as: - the Plage de Bonnegrâce 4 minutes by car; - the Phare de Sanary-sur-Mer 6 minutes away; - the Village du Castelet 20 minutes by metro, and many more. Authentic fishing port on the Provencal coast, Sanary enjoys a privileged geographical location: 12 km from Toulon, 55 km from Marseille, 35 km from Hyères airport, 75 km from Marseille airport (Marignane), motorway exit Sanary/Bandol. San Nari is the Provençal name of Saint Nazaire, Roman martyr of the 1st century AD, to which was dedicated in the Middle Ages a place of worship on the territory of the present Sanary. Hamlet on the edge of the Mediterranean, sheltered by the seigneurial tower erected around 1300, Saint-Nazaire took off in the 16th century. The port of Sanary is recognized as one of the most typical and authentic on the French Mediterranean coast. Very old natural port, located in the heart of the city, it honors a hundred heritage boats, the oldest dating back to 1895, including the famous "pointy" Provençal. Sanary has always been home to a fleet of fishermen. Fishing reached its golden age in the early 20th century. Fishermen bring their fish back daily and sell it in the harbour. You can also appreciate the Provencal specialties such as bouillabaisse or aioli thanks to this local fishery. Village turned towards the sea, Sanary was also the refuge of the biggest names in German culture: Thomas Mann, Heinrich Mann, Klaus Mann, Erika Mann, Lion Feuchtwanger, Arnold Zweig, Franz Hessel... resided in Sanary-sur-Mer between 1933 and 1942. The esplanade of the sea, lighthouses, jetties... all walks that offer picturesque views of the port and the village.
