Stroll along the old moats 6 km away in Dol-de-Bretagne, which also boasts Saint-Samon Cathedral, a jewel of Breton Gothic architecture, half-timbered houses and old city walls. Mont-Dol, not far away, offers an unobstructed view of the entire bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. 35 km away, Saint-Malo, the former home of wild corsairs, attracts visitors with its magnificent beaches and a hitherto unconquered fortress.
