We opened Casa Tramuntana in 2024 because we wanted to have adventures, share the beauty of Tautavel and meet new people without having to leave the comfort of home. We have always loved receiving guests and sharing experiences, so opening our own guesthouse was a logical choice! Rivesaltes Airport in Perpignan is the closest airport, just a 25-minute drive from Tautavel. If you prefer to travel by train, Perpignan is the destination. If you opt for these options, we are happy to arrange transportation. If you are coming by car, take the A9 towards Spain and take exit n°41 Rivesaltes, just a 20-minute drive from Tautavel. In Tautavel and Vingrau you can meet all your needs, including groceries, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and more. You can find all the essential information for your stay on the Tautavel website. Besides climbing, there is a plethora of activities to enjoy. Relax at the Gorges des Gouleyrous River in the valley, or venture to the nearby sea (just 30 minutes away) for windsurfing, kite surfing and more. Téleski Nautiqe in Leucate (45 minutes away) offers water skiing and wakeboarding. Fun water parks are also within easy reach. For adventurers, Galamus offers via ferrata and canyoning. You can even book these activities with Nico Rousson, a local expert involved in bolting and inspections. Culture lovers will appreciate a visit to the prehistoric museum in Tautavel, exploring medieval villages such as Villefranche-de-Conflent and wine tasting on rest days.
