Les Jumelles is located at the border of the tradional village "Les Allues" that lies in the ski area of "Les Trois Vallees". Les Jumelles are two beautiful chalets. Each chalet has a dinning room with dining area, an open kitchen, 4 sleeping rooms, 3 bathrooms and is fully equiped for 9 persons (rented together for 18 persons). The charming village of Les Allues is close to Meribel and is connected via a Gondolla with "Les 3 Vallees". There is even a piste going from Meribel to Les Allues. Chalet B is on the east side. Chalet A is on the west side closer to the street. The property is not suitable for parties ! How to reach the pistes from the chalet (there is no ski-in or ski-out): Close to Les Allues there is a gondola to the ski area of Meribel. The gondola is at 900m distance from the chalet and has a free parking. Alternatively, one can take the bus to Meribel in Les Allues. The bus stop is at 700m distance from the chalet. Those who prefer to go with the car, can best drive to Meribel Les Villages. This is only a 10 min drive from the chalet and has free parking. When there is sufficient snow, its possible to ski back from Meribel to Les Allues.
Les Allues is part of "Les 3 Vallees", the biggest ski area in Europe with 600km of piste. The ski-area is on a height from 1100m to 3200m and has mostly a lot of snow. There are restaurants, bars and a small supermarket in Les Allues. Besides skiing, there is an amplitude of attractions in the area: climbing, hiking, snow hiking etc. Also in the summer you can enjoy the beautiful nature. There is plenty of possibility to hike, bike , mountain-bike or raft.
