The house is a very old alsatian one. It lodged several jewish families, shopkeepers and craftsmen. It's a living house, which has been transformed many times, as its frontage in the 18. century.
Because I'm fond of my country, I love to share the culture and heritage of this little place in France. I am sometimes a storyteller, in this Land, where legends often mingel with history.....
Weiterswiller is a lovely small village located on the salttrail and with amazing forests around. A village with a big sense of community. In fact, we had for years three different churchs, a protestant, catholic, and a jewish one. And today, although the Synagog is empty, we still have got three religious living places, thanks to the zen buddhist tempel, wich set up 15 years ago. In our "Bretzel Land",we count a lot of beautifull places to visit, such as Bouxwiller and its two museums, the castles of Lichtenberg, Herrenstein or Hunebourg....and of course the delicious Petite Pierre.....
