The Maison de Juliette rises majestically in the centre of a park of century old trees. Under the eves, we have created a suite consisting of two inter-communicating rooms where exposed beams frame a pallet of pearl grey and mauve achieving the cosy atmosphere of family homes of a bygone era. In the grounds, we have also converted the outbuilding, ‘Le petit atelier ‘ into a guest house with two independant double bedrooms, each with its own entrance overlooking the garden. In each room original materials salvaged from the old workshop have been imaginatively integrated into the new design creating a beautiful, light space with poetic echoes of times past.
