Casa Clementine is one of two houses in the grounds of the chateau. A 240 year old building newly renovated for summer 2023, it offers 3 double bedrooms and an attic room that sleeps 8, ideal for families or groups who want a fantastic space in a peaceful setting. New for 2024, you will find a large dining table that seats up to 14 people (see pictures). Enjoy a BBQ in the chateau courtyard in summer and the huge open fire in winter. The house offers around 250m2 of space and guests are welcome to walk and play in the chateau grounds where you might find peacocks, alpaca and a deer or two, to the delight of children and adults alike. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens around the house and there are many walks to take. There is a lot of space for children to play outside, enjoy the BBQ and spend time with friends in the gardens at the front. Please do ask permission if you would like to visit the gardens behind the main chateau. We love this house for the charm and amazing space to spend time with family and friends. The building is nearly 250 years old and is an amazing setting in peaceful countryside, surrounded by real "chateau life". The heating is by pellet stove (pellets provided), radiators and the grand fireplace which you should enjoy using in colder months. You will find many attractions, walks and places to visit nearby and you should have a car. There are numerous supermarkets nearby - the pretty town of Hesdin approx 15 mins by car. La Cour de Remi is a beautiful restaurant 40 minutes walk from the house through the stunning countryside. There is a Petanque/Boule court just outside the chateau, next to the village church.

The property is our holiday home which we enjoy with friends and invite others to do the same. Stephan, who lives next door, is able to assist guests on site and we hope you enjoy the charm of the location and the view of real chateau life with friends and family. We particularly like to spend time with friends in the house, with all its space, visit the nearby towns and markets, the coast at Le Touquet and Le Cretoy, play Boules in the village and take local walks and bike rides. The kitchen and BBQ are set up for large groups to enjoy time together.

Humieres is located a short drive from the market towns of Hesdin and Montreuil-Sur-Mer, and about 40 minutes from the beach at Le Touquet. There is a wide variety of things to do in the area, from peaceful country walks to visiting historic war sites. There are numerous walks from the house, including stops at some beautiful restaurants on the way.
