Hi my name is Julia and I relocated from Australia to France in 2019 to follow my dream of owning and living in this beautiful chateau and country. My background is in art and design, and helping clients create their own beautiful homes. I see Chateau Mas de Pradié as my art work and I want people to come and relax and enjoy it as much as I do.

Chateau Mas de Pradié sits in its own 15 acre parkland and an ancient oak forest. Chateau Mas de Pradié was built in the mid 1700s, and its large barn served as a royal relay for horses. The property was also home to an ancient mill benefiting from the seasonal flooding of the lake where the water cascades down into the cave system below. Our oak forest is home to several ancient stone dwellings and Dolmans. The previous owner lived at Mas de Pradié for over 55 years and was a renowned French artist, who left his mark in every building. We have kept his studio space here at Mas de Pradié available for use by our artists in residency. This magical property evokes the creative spirit in all, and the gardens and parklands are enchanting and peaceful.

Chateau Mas de Pradié is equally positioned between Figeac, Villefranche-de-Rouergue and Cajarc, situated in the village of Foissac with the 'Grotte de Foissac' only 1km from the chateau, and Villeneuve D'Aveyron only a 5 miniute drive.
