The Garden Terrace is a place where you can sit relax and enjoy the views of the river and sound of the birds from the garden with your book/tea/coffee/wine any time of the day/night.
Breakfast at Chez Jack is a special time spent in a space flooded with natural light overlooking the town and river, and can feel like the first pleasure of the day. Confolens which borders Limousin is a sleepy "City of Art and History" The medieval town was built in the eleventh century and now nestles in a largely rural community with an emerging tourist market. The Charente region is great for walking and cycling with markets taking place weekly in the Region. Chez Jack is located in the Fontorse district near Pont Vieux (the old bridge), which is pedestrianised. Free parking on the quayside. Confolens has lots of to offer shops, banks, town square, supermarkets, post office, bars, restaurants,and childrens playgrounds, Local market takes place Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
For a leisurely walk in the town, go across the stepping stones by the old mill and meander through the streets, or within minuets you can be in the unspolit countryside and explore the views on offer in this beautiful Medieval town. In summer Confolens also has velo train rides and canoeing on the river.
