In this restored farm in the countrisyde of Sarlat-la-Canéda, in the very heart of the black Perigord, you will resource yourself. Less than 10 minutes of the histroical centre of Sarlat, between the river Dordogne and the river Vézère, this house offers confort and quietness. The thick walls keep the coolness inside during hot summer days and the heated swimming pools makes bathing enjoyable. The gite furniture is included in the rental price (fixed price of fifty euros per stay).
During a walk in the surrounding area, I fell under the spell of this beautiful stone farmhouse. After a visit, I was certain I wanted to buy this property, which is typical of the Périgord region. The garden, the views over the countryside and the central location make it an ideal destination for visiting the Périgord.
Lamonzie is a small hamlet in the heart of the golden triangle close to the main attractions of the black Perigord (Dordogne). There is an organic bakery 20 minutes' walk away and a gourmet market at the Tamniès pond every Sunday evening in summer.
