We are a couple of Franc-Comtois newly settled (2019) in Brittany. We will be happy to share with you this love of Finistère in particular. (mountain, sea, festivals, gastronomy, hiking, architecture etc ...) Each “Breton country” (bro in Breton) corresponds to a clothing, linguistic, musical domain, different from those of its neighbors. The Pays Chelgen (sometimes also called Pays juloded) roughly corresponds to the region mainly concerned by the work and trade of flax and hemp, leather too, from the sixteenth century to the nineteenth century which enriched a relatively closed aristocracy of peasant families enterprising (the juloded) and allowed to finance the parish enclosures.
We will welcome you to our house with ease and in a family spirit. At the Center Finistère, in the Monts d´Arrée. Located near Morlaix, Roskoff, Huelgoat, Brest, the beaches of the almost Crozon Island, this geographical location will allow you to shine throughout the region. We have a nice little dog (Dicky, cairn terrier). The garage is available for motorcycles and bicycles.
Many local events are organized on the territory throughout the year. Flea markets, guided tours, festivals, concerts, markets, painting exhibitions…. The Relais "in the village offers a working meal for lunch on weekdays, take-out pizzas on Friday evenings and Saturday evenings as well as a very friendly welcome at the bar with Marie and Arnault, until 8:00 pm. Closed on Sundays.
