Farms & Dependencies of traditional Périgourdine farmhouses, built in the XIXth century, renovated Farmhouses, with a friendly & family atmosphere, that makes us happy for 4 generations and where we will welcome you as our friends for a relaxing & quiet holidays.
Since the Internet is reaching our houses in the middle of nowhere, we are working at home, so we are at your disposal throughout your stay to guide you to the finest places of the Périgord for you to enjoy it as much as we do since we are born.
Simeyrols as its name suggests is located on cimes (meaning hilltops) offering nice views on the surrounding hills (The Périgord is on the foothills of the Massif Central). We live in the countryside with a dispersed settlement in hamlets with the land around each of our farmhouses. Also despite the crowds in the area in the summer, we are living in a very calm place even if our accommodations are built in the heart of the golden triangle of the Black Perigord. So we are half way between Sarlat and the railway station and motorway access; between the White Périgord Blanc, the Green & the Red one, the Quercy and all the famous sites of the Dordogne (castles of Beynac, Castelnaud, Lascaux Caves ...), the Corrèze (Collonges-la-Rouge Turenne ...) and the Lot (Padirac, Pech Merle, St Cirq la Popie …). All those touristic spots are in a range of 50 km. We have here as much historical monuments than there are round Paris and that'll give you plenty ideas of what to do to see or to taste for several weeks.
