Property information

A little piece of paradise set within its very own hamlet in stunning countryside that looks out to the distant Pyrénées. The perfect all year-round destination. This gorgeous two story gîte has been updated to a high standard throughout but still contains its rustic charm. Inside you'll find three double bedrooms tastefully decorated, two doubles on the first floor and one bedroom with 2 single beds on the ground floor, one bathroom, a downstairs shower room and good-sized living accommodation, including kitchen diner and separate lounge. Outside, this gîte comes equipped with its own terrace and barbecue area, ideal for outdoor dining. This gîte has a wood burner for the cooler months so perfect all year round. Please note that as we do live in a gorgeous rural setting, we currently have a limited phone signal. However, WIFI is available throughout the gardens but not in the gîte.

Neighbourhood information

Easy access to Carcassonne and Toulouse Gîtes de Montcabirol is handily located a few minutes by car from Mirepoix. This lively, colourful town is truly enchanting with its central square surrounded by medieval houses, covered walkways, weekly market, numerous shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Mirepoix also provides easy access to Foix, Pamiers, the Pyrénées and the fast roads to Carcassonne, Toulouse and the Mediterranean resorts of Narbonne and Beziers. A great base to visit top attractions and be active You can choose to do as little or as much when you stay at Montcabirol. Whether you want to start exploring straight away or simply sit by the pool, unwind and take in the beautiful views, you won’t be disappointed.
