The room was clean and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owners were pleasant and friendly. There was a good bus service into the centre of the city but on foot it was a good 20-25 minute walk to the centre so l’Aiglon is not exactly centrally situated. However, it is a one star hotel and therefore simple and basic and that needs to be borne in mind in relation to this review.

Located in Limoges City Centre, this low-cost hotel is 1 km from the train station and 50 metres from shops and restaurants. It has a patio with outdoor furniture, and free Wi-Fi is included in the rooms. A TV with Canal+ channels and a telephone are provided in the guest rooms, which have a simple décor. Some of the rooms have a private bathroom with a toilet. You can enjoy breakfast every morning in the dining room at Hotel l'Aiglon. The National Porcelain Museum is a 13-minute walk from the hotel, and Bellegarde Airport is 10 km away.
