I'm originally from Australia and as a host I love meeting new people from all over Europe and the world. I love sharing the beautiful hidden gem that is the town and department of Cantal with people who are coming here for the first time, or returning to see family and friends. I strive to offer my guests an experience that I would like to have myself. I aim to provide well-equipped accommodation that makes your stay as pleasant as if you were at home. I love to cook, which is made all the more enjoyable by my trips to the local market and village shops, where everything I need is on the doorstep.

Property information

Situated in the heart of the beautiful mountain village of Vic-sur-Cère. On your doorstep, cafés, bars, restaurants and all the village shops, butcher, baker, greengrocer and corner shop. The village is quiet and beautiful, with a perfect location for exploring whatever the season. In winter, we are a 15-minute drive from the family-friendly ski resort of Le Lioran, rated one of the top 5 resorts in France for value for money. We have good transport links by rail and bus, with Aurillac only 20 minutes away by car.

Neighbourhood information

A former spa town with links to the royal family of Monaco, Vic-sur-Cère is a beautiful village with much to offer. With its history and many buildings dating back to the Middle Ages, there is much to explore and discover. Our green spaces and sports facilities are exceptional, and walking trails are easily accessible in the warmer months. Situated in the Cère valley, we have all the shops and facilities of a much larger village, but with the charm of a small village. The village market is held twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday mornings, and features many local Cantal producers.
