With its beautifully renovated living spaces, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a home cinema, foosball table, bright and fully equipped kitchen, and a peaceful terrace overlooking the river, this house is designed for slowing down, reconnecting, and creating unforgettable memories. Its style combines vintage charm, bold colors, and playful decor — never compromising on comfort. 🗝️ La Maison de Cécile accommodates up to 10 guests, offering optimal comfort for 6 adults and excellent conditions for 4 children or teenagers. Two bedrooms feature double beds, one has two single beds, and the fourth has four fold-away single beds. A baby cot is also available for young families. 🛁 On the wellness side, one of the bathrooms includes a clawfoot tub perfect for soaking in bubbles by candlelight — a moment out of time. It also features a spacious walk-in shower for those who prefer practicality over poetry. The second bathroom is en suite, with a private shower and toilet connected to one of the bedrooms. 🍽️ The kitchen is bright and fully equipped, comfortably seating 6 people for meals, with an extra table to add 2 more seats if needed, plus 2 stools at the breakfast bar. The vibe is warm and homey — just like a family gathering. 🌳 Outside, nature is everywhere: a sunlit rocking chair, a bench by the river for your morning coffee, a BBQ and fire pit for long summer evenings. The green feels more vibrant here, the hills ripple with every turn, birds seem to sing louder, and even hikers’ laughter floats in the air. Welcome to La Suisse Normande, a hidden gem in Normandy – where lush valleys, dramatic cliffs, winding rivers, and charming villages come together to offer breathtaking views and authentic experiences. From the house or just a short drive away, you’ll find beautiful hiking trails, watersports (kayak, canoe, paddleboard), local farmers’ markets, and iconic sites like Clécy, Pont-d’Ouilly, La Roche d’Oëtre, and the nearby D-Day beaches (and further, the famous Mont Saint-Michel). For the curious, Caen, Bayeux, Falaise or Honfleur are perfect for day trips and cultural discoveries. But truth be told… you may not want to leave at all.
