It can be busy on the weekends and in Fete season (summer) and there is always plenty to watch and enjoy. The house Sleeps 4 comfortably in 3 beds, with 1 full bathroom and two separate WCs. There is a large upstairs living room with big screen TV/Multi-Media +100+ DVDs and many games. Fans are supplied for summer, and electric heating and Pellet fire in winter. Entry at street level. Park your car in the closest parking spot, Fully equipped modern kitchen with induction hob, dishwasher and oven and small appliances. A dining room and small sitting area are adjacent to the kitchen, for sociable times. Open wide the windows and enjoy breezes from the river. You can walk the short distance to the depot de pain for your morning baguette and croissants and a coffee, and enjoy an excellent Formule lunch on their outdoor terrace, by reservation (advised). Walk anywhere in and from this location and cycle on any number of the cycleways in the area. Rental Bikes and helmets can be delivered to the door. You will need a vehicle in this location. You are never more than 90 mins from the coast at Royan (60 mins) or La Rochelle (90 mins) and any of the fabulous and historic towns and cities. This includes Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. Roman Art and ruins are nearby. Famous Cognac houses for tours and sampling. Hang out on the terrace of a restaurant in Jarnac or Cognac and watch the world go by.
