The fine print
Be careful not to scratch the stainless steel on the refrigerator and oven, and do not scrub it with abrasive sponges.
Be careful with the glass doors on the china cabinet, as they are very heavy. Remember to close them properly so that no one gets hurt when walking past.
If you use the steam oven, you will need to wipe it down and leave it slightly open until it is dry.
If you break anything, please let us know so that we can replace it for the next guests.
As the chalet is equipped to a high standard, you will be asked to reimburse us for the cost of the broken item (even after your departure if you fail to report the breakage).
Some wooden boards are decorative and are not intended for cutting. You will find utility boards next to the knife block and in the drawers.
Do not put the wooden boards in the dishwasher.
The dining room table must be protected at every meal with the tablecloths, placemats, and trivets provided.
We kindly ask you to place wooden boards under raclette/fondue sets to protect the wooden table and prevent it from burning.
Be careful not to run your hands along the old wooden walls to avoid splinters.
Please respect the parquet flooring in the living room, bedrooms, and especially the bathrooms.
Protect it when showering or bathing, dry it if necessary, and lift up wet rugs.
The bathroom furniture is made of wood, so do not leave water standing on it.
It is preferable not to eat on the sofas, but if you wish to do so, blankets are available for this purpose in the closet in the entrance hall.
Avoid touching the Roman blinds or handle them with care so as not to catch them on the window handles, otherwise they may be torn off.
Please do not touch the light fixtures next to the sofa. They are fragile and expensive.
Be careful not to leave the lights or heating in the bathrooms on unnecessarily. An electricity meter reading will be taken on your arrival and departure. If excessive consumption is found, you will be charged an additional fee.
Do not touch the heating thermostat. It is important that you contact us first if you need to adjust it.
Be careful with the old wooden cupboard doors in the entrance hall: do not force those that do not open completely.
We only make the gas fireplace available if we are certain that it will be used with great care.
It should be used occasionally, not continuously, to warm up the rooms in winter or to enjoy a cozy atmosphere at any time, provided that the temperature and duration of use remain reasonable.
It is essential to turn off the fireplace at night or when you leave the chalet.
Outside of the winter season, you can have access to the latest generation of full-suspension electric mountain bikes at an additional cost if you wish. If you are interested, please let us know in advance so that the mountain bikes are available.
Regarding the use of the Nordic bath, it may take 24 to 48 hours to set up if it was not requested at the time of booking.
It is important to warn children not to touch the metal parts, which may be hot during heating.
Be sure to close the bath with the three-part cover provided for this purpose, to retain heat at night during the summer and also during the day after each use during the winter.
If you want a specific bath temperature, please contact us in advance so that we can advise you on how to do this.
Please note that this last point is important because if the temperature is set above 40 degrees, the filter and heating unit may be irreparably damaged.
We wish you an excellent stay at La Superba.
Please inform La Superba in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
A damage deposit of € 2,000 is required on arrival. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out.
