My parents transmitted to me their passion for Périgord more than 20 years ago - and I love to share this with you. Beynac is more than just a village, it is a medieval site with a very special atmosphere... In the morning, when the village rises but also in the evening, when sun sets over river Dordogne. Not to forget the pulse of life during daytime. Beynac is classified as one of the „most beautiful villages in France“. You will surely find lots of exceptional moments during your stay.

Property information

Our house, La Tour (62sqm²) is part of the historic buildings of the medieval part of the village of Beynac. Its construction is in the 14th century. It has been completely renovated and furnished in autumn 2018 and offers 3 spaces: a living room on the ground floor with ultra modern equipment and a large and beautiful Gothic style window with elaborate grille, a large room on the 1st floor with its bathroom, a second room, attic, on the upper floor with toilet. All rooms have retained their original appearance (stone, exposed beams). The terrace of 25m ² is vegetalized and conjugates beauty of the mineral of yellow color and the vegetable. It offers a magical and breathtaking view of the Dordogne River, emblematic river of Périgord. The whole is slightly down the alley access to the castle. You will enjoy the assets of the village while being quiet. You can in the summer season to take your meals there. The Tower will allow you to find the architectural ambience of the Middle Ages in modern comfort and quality.

Neighbourhood information

And last not least there is always the possibility to indulge yourself in one of the numerous little Restaurants at reasonable prices with typical Perigord cuisine. By the way, I nearly forgot to mention the unforgettable tour by Kayak or Canoe along the river Dordogne.
