Lazy Days chambres d'hotes is a small family run renovated farm house surrounded by 2.5 acres of land. We have 2 generous sized double bedrooms, so in total we can host up to 4 adults. Guests have their own private entrance, private lounge area. Tea/coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge and a DvD TV are available to guests. On site parking is free. We have 2 family dogs, who adore children and have become very well loved by our previous guests. Also on our 2.5 acres we have 2cats, 1 donkey, 6 alpacas, 1 goats and many chickens. Our alpacas receive a lot of attention from guests and our neighbours! They are very timid animals but if you stand quietly they will come and check you out. We also have lots of outside space so if after a long days drive you prefer to chill there are plenty of seating areas for a picnic or alternatively we can offer a range of local restaurants. Our location is approximate 20 minutes from the A20 exit 23/24. We are considered rural, but we are only 10 minutes in every direction from a large town, the largest being Bellac. Other towns nearby include Le Dorat, Chateauponsac and Magnac-Laval. The city of Limoges is only 30 minutes away. The nearest small village is just down the hill and has 3 restaurants, The Mill, Le Georges and Le Mange Tout. We are an ideal stop over for one night if travelling or for a few nights as there are lots of local sights to be seen. Oradour Sur Glane, Lac de St Pardoux, city of limoges, and many walks and rivers.

We are Denise and Trevor Moss. We moved to France from England in November 2011 to live a dream of renovating an old farmhouse and running a chambres d'hotes. So far our dreams have come true. We have tried to create an environment at Lazy Days that we would suit everyone. Along side the modern day luxuries we have also the rural experience of countryside living. We have lovingly restored an old abandoned farmhouse and numerous barns. It all sits on 2.5 acres of land and gardens. Our other dream was to breed alpacas, we are doing this successfully. In the last 2 years we have bred 4 new babies at Lazy Days. Our love of animals is reflected in the many breeds we have here at Lazy Days.....our alpacas receive alot of attention from our neighbours, local people and our guests. My other love is art, when I have time there is nothing better than sitting and creating a picture.Luckily we are surrounded by lots of inspiring ideas that can be transfered to canvas. Over the last few years since opening we have met many lovely guests, some of which have become friends and continue to revisit us at Lazy Days.

We are considered a rural location, (transportation a necessity) we are only 10 minutes in each direction from a town, the largest being Bellac. Our other nearest towns are Chateauponsac, Le Dorat and Magnac-Laval, all offering shops, bars and restaurants. We are 20 minutes from the A20 and 30 minutes from the city of Limoges. Our nearest airport is Bellegarde, Limoges also 30 minutes away. We are located in the commune of Rancon, but our hamlet is just up the hill. We are set in between 2 rivers, Le Gartempe and Le Semme. We are surrounded by rolling hills, which are great if you enjoy walking as there are many designated routes around our location. About 30 minutes drive away is the town of Oradour sur Glane, this is a recognised memorial site. The 'old' town was destroyed in June 1944 and has been left how it was as a memorial to all those who died. (642 men, women and children lost their lives). This is a place that is well worth a visit if you are in the area. Also nearby is the man made lake of Saint Pardoux. Here you can relax on the sandy beach or enjoy the many water sports that they have on offer there. There is also a large indoor swimming pool with outdoor area
