We love to welcome guests to our home: an old farmhouse in the middle of the Causse forest, and to give our guests a pleasant time so that they leave with beautiful memories. Jean-Baptiste is a scientific facilitator and offers observation evenings on site (to be booked in advance).

Property information

The Refuge aux étoiles is a true haven of peace, at the end of a small path, deep in the countryside, surrounded by nature just above the lively medieval village of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val. A 10-minute walk will take you to an exceptional panorama of the Aveyron Gorges, and in the garden, chickens and sheep delight children. We have built a veritable astronomical observatory there, allowing you to contemplate the moon, nebulae, galaxies, and more in detail. (NOTE: Private astronomy evenings must be booked well in advance. "Let's dive into the stars": 139 euros and solar observation: 50 euros).

To get to us: Use the Waze app by typing "Le Refuge aux étoiles" or take the D75 and follow our signs past the Bosc Cave! Car GPS and Google Maps aren't always reliable for getting to us. Le Refuge aux étoiles is located on the heights of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, a magnificent and very lively medieval village. We are just a few meters from the splendid Bosc Cave, and the Aveyron River awaits you for a refreshing swim or a canoe trip. In the area: mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, caving, climbing, kite flying, treetop adventures, horseback riding, and more. Nearby attractions include: Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val (regular guided tours) with its Sunday morning market, Beaulieu Abbey, Quercy Gardens, and the villages of Penne, Bruniquel, Caylus, and Cordes-sur-Ciel. Numerous cultural and other events await you.
