We love history! It is the whole meaning of our project which is rather original: natural heritage, on the one hand, our objective being to protect the incredible biodiversity of the park, by banishing all chemical products, by planting many trees and by mowing reasoned in order to encourage the presence and sometimes the return of insects (such as the impressive stag beetle) and birds (notably the woodpecker), but also the many foxes, squirrels, martens...; the other part the historical heritage by protecting all the old elements of the house, which dates from the 1770s (zinc finials, rosettes, thick molasse walls, weather vane, stone troughs, old washhouse, press, old bread oven, stone fireplaces, marble, floor tiles, parquet floors, etc.). We are gradually furnishing the house by choosing 18th and 19th century furniture and decoration, combining beauty and comfort. The idea is not to live like in a museum, but to prove that it is possible to be inspired only by our past to live in modernity. For our greatest happiness and that of our guests!
