The main bedroom has a 140x200 double bed and ample storage. The separate second bedroom has 90x190 Bunk beds with under-bed storage. There is a utility area with a washing machine and clothes drier, and the Living space has a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, ample seating, sofa bed, HD smart TV and Wifi. A private parking space at the rear of the building is accessed from Passage des Charmes. The covered parking space is also where the storage cave for the apartment is located. You will be close to all the amenities Luchon offers in this centrally-located, comfortable apartment. The park and thermal baths are just across the road, the ski gondola 500m from the front door and the restaurants, shops and cinema are only 3 minutes away on Allée D'Etigny (Luchon's High Street). You will not have to travel anywhere by car if you don't want to! After a booking is completed, you will be sent the lock box code giving access to the covered parking, cave and apartment. If you are after a holiday full of outdoor activity, Luchon has lots to offer there too! It is the perfect location for skiing, cycling, hiking, fishing, golf, tennis, and horse riding, to list a few.

We wanted to live somewhere that provided a different pace of life than that of central London. Ian and I wanted to find somewhere that would provide an ideal environment for the hobbies and outdoor pursuits we love: cycling, skiing, hiking, horse riding and discovering new places. The Pyrenees ticked all these boxes, and the Queen of the Pyrenees, Bagneres de Luchon, captured our imagination.

Luchon and its surrounds have welcomed people for years to enjoy the restorative powers of the Thermes discovered by the Romans and developed by successive generations. Or the pursuit of outdoor activities that draw you, the Pyrenees is a magical place for everyone. This elegant bath town has been a destination spot for several centuries, not only because of the famous thermal waters and proximity to the border with Spain (10km), so tapas for lunch is always possible. If you are after a holiday full of outdoor activities. In that case, Luchon has lots to offer: skiing, road & gravel cycling, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, golf, tennis, horse riding, paragliding, and exploring the area by motorbike. The local skiing is at Superbagneres (8 minutes by telecabine), Peyragudes (14 km) away, and Mortis (18 Km) and should not be underestimated. Luchon is a regular host for the Tour de France. Unsurprising when you consider the number of famous Cols on the doorstep; Peyresourde, Portillon, Mente, Porte de Bales, and the climbs to Superpagneres and Peyragudes, and there is easy access to Cols Aspin, Tourmalet and Aspet. Mountain biking is, in the opinions of many 2nd, to none. The hiking offers routes for all abilities and levels of fitness. Walks range from virtually flat to seriously challenging hikes. In every case, the trek will take you to some of the most beautiful spots the Pyrenees offer: the lacs in the Vlley du Lis or at Oo. The tennis club and golf clubs are a 5 and 12 minutes walk from the apartment. The Nearest fishing is at Lake de Badech next to the Aeroclub de Luchon on the edge of town, just 2kms from the apartment. Lourdes/Tarbes (101 km) and Toulouse (120km) are the nearest airports, train stations at St Gaudens and Montrejeau and TGV at Tarbes. The possibilities are endless in this stunningly beautiful Pyrenean mountain town.
