It features a spacious living area with a large bay window opening onto a private terrace. You’ll have direct access to our expansive garden, which includes a vegetable patch, a chicken coop, and a large play area for children — complete with a swing set, slide, trampoline, ping-pong table, and more. From the garden, enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Domme, officially recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in France. The guesthouse is ideal for up to 4 adults and one baby. It’s perfect for a peaceful family getaway in the countryside.

We’re a family living in La Roque-Gageac, in a traditional Périgord-style home. On our property, there’s a small guesthouse attached to our main house, which has welcomed family and friends for years — and now it’s open to travelers too! We’ll be happy to welcome you there. The guesthouse is fully independent, so you’ll have your own space to relax and enjoy your stay in peace. That said, we’re always nearby if you need tips on things to do, places to visit, or local recommendations. We love sharing the beauty of our region and hope you’ll feel right at home here.

We live in La Roque-Gageac, officially recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in France. The house is located on a quiet road that also serves as a cycling route, making it easy to explore the area by bike. The Dordogne River is just 900 meters away, with a riverside beach and canoe rental center within walking distance. We’re perfectly situated in the heart of the Périgord Noir, close to all the major attractions: 10 minutes to Sarlat, 10 minutes to Beynac and its castle, 5 minutes to the Marqueyssac Gardens, 5 minutes to Castelnaud Castle, and only 30 minutes to the famous Lascaux caves and the prehistoric museum in Les Eyzies. Despite its proximity to so many highlights, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Shops and other conveniences are just a 2-minute drive away in Cénac. Life is calm and relaxing here — and on sunny days, hot air balloons often float right above the house.
