"Entre Mer et Terre" We offer a unique holiday experience, allowing you to unwind in a tranquil rural setting amidst the breathtaking Brittany countryside, while remaining just a short 15-minute drive from the untouched and stunning coastline. We have tried to create a welcoming environment that we would want for our holidays, creating cottages that feel like a 'home from home'. Our self-catering cottages feature modern conveniences and offer panoramic views of the protected Aven Valley, providing a relaxing holiday experience
Interaction with guests: We are a family of five who moved from England to France in 2003 to start a new life. We live at Keranmeriet, so are here to welcome our Guests when they arrive and explain about the facilities and the area. Equally though we are not intrusive, so you feel completely at ease when staying here. We have 6 other properties on this site, look under Keranmeriet, Melgven. Brittany is truly blessed with its stunning beaches, and we are fortunate to have some of the best just a 15-minute drive away! You can explore a different beach every day of your holiday, each as enchanting as the last. There’s a beach here to suit everyone, from rock pools for young explorers, to sandy shores for sun-lovers, and perfect waves for budding surfers. Within a short drive you will find many historic towns and villages, Pont Aven, Concarneau and Quimper to name a few. We are also lucky to have a Tree climbing centre and a theme park closeby as well as museums, great coastal paths and walking paths and biking trails from our doorstep. Enjoy the numerous Breton fetes and festivals throughout the summer months with dancing, music, fireworks, and traditional fayre at great prices. Sample locally grown oysters or the fresh seafood that is landed in one of the nearby harbours, you can even buy it straight off the fishing boats when they come in. Or just take time out in to savour the local dishes in the restaurants and cafes.
