Our family relocated from Scotland to this beautiful area of France in 2020. We wanted a more relaxed, peaceful and healthy lifestyle where we could enjoy fresh air, lovely people and breath taking countryside on our doorstep. We have been warmly welcomed and made lifelong friends. Having let properties in Spain and Scotland for many years, we wanted to create a wonderful holiday experience here for guests. Giving them the opportunity to fully relax with their family and friends and feel at home whilst creating memories to last a lifetime. We fell in love with the mill as soon as we saw it. Such a beautiful and historic building, with babbling brooks on three sides. It's idyllic and restful. The grounds are very generous, so there's many areas to just sit and listen to trickling water, the birds, the insects and animals as they go about their daily business Inside the watermill, it's full of period features, exposed stone walls and ancient old beams. We have created beautiful Suites furnished to our high standards, offering well deserved comfort and luxury. We live discreetly in another property in the grounds with our 2 Golden Retrievers and are available whenever needed

Built on top of the cliff dominating the village, you’ll find the enchanting Château de Beynac with Château de Castelnaud opposite, Our area abounds with so many magnificent chateaux; pretty, picture perfect medieval bastide towns, including our own lovely Belvès as well as Monpazier, Domme, Beaumont -du-Périgord, Lalinde, Villefranche-du-Périgord. Most of these charming bastides are also accredited with being among the ‘most beautiful villages in France’ – Les Plus Beaux Villages de France. Also worth visiting is Sarlat-la-Canéda. SPORTING ACTIVITIES The Dordogne Valley is the perfect location for rock climbing, paragliding, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing and kayaking, canyoning, horse riding, golf and so much more! It’s the number one destination for ramblers, with thousands of superb walks throughout the Valley.
