Our building, Notre Renardière, consists of four apartments: one for ourselves and three available for rent. We offer two gîtes that can each accommodate up to 5 people and one gîte for 2 people. Depending on availability, it is also possible to book multiple gîtes at the same time, allowing groups of up to 12 people to enjoy a stay in the heart of the Vosges.

We are Belgians who fell in love with the magnificent Vosges mountains. In 2016, we chose to settle in this beautiful region, got married here, and in 2018, our family grew with the arrival of our little boy, Lévi. Our family name is De Vos, which is a Flemish name that translates into English as The Fox and in French as Le Renard. With a family name like ours, the choice of a name for our gîtes was obvious. That’s how Notre Renardière was born. A renardière is a cozy, secret place where foxes dig their den, a hidden space where they gather and live together in harmony. We have found our own little corner of paradise here and would be delighted to share this unique place with you, so that you, too, can feel at home here. Saulxures-sur-Moselotte and the Vosges Mountains have so much to offer. As a family, we continue every day to explore the area and often discover new spots. We share these discoveries as much as possible on our social media and website, hoping to inspire you and help plan your stay… or simply to spark your curiosity! The magnificent Vosges mountains, known for their mountain lakes, waterfalls, and pine forests, are an ideal destination all year round. Our gîtes are located in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Natural Park, in the charming village of Saulxures-sur-Moselotte. A bakery, supermarket, and restaurant are all within walking distance. The area is full of hiking trails, and our gîtes are situated directly on the Voie Verte, a well-known cycling and walking route. During the summer months, our village offers an extra highlight: the Lac de la Moselotte, a beautiful swimming lake and leisure area just 3 km from our gîtes. You can enjoy a refreshing swim, slides, an inflatable obstacle course floating on the water, and a playground — there’s something for the whole family! For winter sports enthusiasts, it is useful to know that the largest and highest ski resort in the Vosges, La Bresse-Hohneck, is only 21 km (20 minutes) from our gîtes. The resort is easily accessible, with no worries about driving in the snow. The main road is well maintained, and during winter, snowplows pass daily if necessary, from our gîtes to the ski parking areas.
