The beach (3.5 km) and marina of this lovely Mediterranean seaside resort are within walking distance, and a fish market is held in the town in the mornings. The several kilometers of coastline, with no less than thirty great pebble and sandy beaches, invites you to swim, dive, fish and sail. A 12 km coastal path will take you to the Baumette Lighthouse, and the Valescure neighborhood also invites you to take a nice walk past impressive estates. The gardens at the Museum of Archaeology are also a nice place for a stroll. From the tower of the fourteenth-century church, there is an exceptional panorama of the bay and across to Saint-Tropez. In the 20,000-square-foot Jardin Bonaparte, children can let off steam in a playground while their parents enjoy the unobstructed view of the old harbor. A drive along the Corniche d'Or to Cannes shows the landscape at its best. This coastal road, carved into red rocks, offers great views of pristine bays and crystal clear waters.
