Herve Cocco, my partner, grew up in Chamonix, while I, Amanda Jackson was raised in Stockholm, among with the vintage furniture in my parents' design gallery. Founded in 1981, Jacksons has become something of an institution in Scandinavian design circles and when we decided to open a guesthouse next to the Planards slope in the center of Chamonix, it felt natural to furnish it with the kind of objects that had followed me throughout my life: Kasthall carpets, Marimakko curtains mix with Kerstin Horlin-Holmquist's Paradise sofas, Borge Mergensen's Spanish chairs and many other classics. We inherited the house from Herve's parents, it has been in the family since 1910, and his mother was born on the first floor. We decided to turn the property into three separate apartments, all with balconies or a private garden. We would love all our guest to enjoy the amazing valley and the adventures that awaits them. With Herve's lifetime knowledge of Chamonix and my passion for beauty of design we will do our utmost to make your stay that little bitt extra.

The villa is situated in the center of Chamonix at a quieter area. It gives you all the opportunities to enjoy the different outdoor sports you can dream of. In the winter you have skiing, snowshoeing, iceskating and dogsledding as a few options. In the summer there is hiking, biking, riding, swimming and paragliding to keep you exited. All year round there is the "buzz" of the city center with shops, museums, cinema, restaurants and cafes with a snowy mind-blowing view of massif du Mont Blanc.
