In a traditional 18 th century Mansion house (Bastide), ecologically renovated overlooking a large property and the old town of Forcalquier in the heart of Provence, with unique and wide view on old “citadelle “, and mountains on day and night (very visible starry sky and the beautiful lighting in the Chapel of Our Lady of Provence). -garden over 3500m2, with organic orchard, playground for guests, external BBQs, swimming pool with salt water, private parking, and high speed internet access throughout; - wide terrace, large sitting room in ground floor, with books, TV - our water is eco energy efficient ( Austrian process) , which makes it nicer for drinking, showers.. -The tranquility of the place on the beginning of a hill and near the historic center with its charming shops and services (5 minutes walk); -fresh and recognised clean Forcalquier air; Provencal market on Monday, typical products (lavender, honey...), its historical ( Couvent des Cordeliers, … ) and cultural heritage ( Giono country ). Rooms are in first floor of the villa, giving on south we love communicate with our international guests in French, English, Italian, and a bit German

Hello, my name is Cristiana, originally from the Venetian region (northern Italy), I trained in tourism and events; I come from a family of cooks and chefs, so passionate about cooking to the point that I do a radio transmission of gastronomy, a follower of the slow food movement, practical kitchen km 0, organic, vegetarian and gluten-free, and I believe in ecology recycling. I really like movies, music, and theatre. I moved here in this wonderful area in Provence Luberon, comiong from Paris, with my partner and my three cats, Tissi, Fifi and Loulou. I am really enjoying managing this property, with a particular attention on the relation with the guests, doing all what is possible to make them feel confortable at home.

we are 5 minutes walk from Forcalquier center, with its shopping, services and the new "green village " We are also at the start of many trekking : 45 minutes walk to historic site of “Les Mourres”, 3 hours walk to the mountain of “Lure “ ( saint Etienne les Orgues) Many possibilities of leisure in the surroundings : golf, tennis, stand up paddling, trekking, horse riding, historical visits ( Monastery of Ganagobie, Abbaye Notre Dame de Sénanque,…) ballooning, biking. You can access the sea : we are less than 100 kms from cote d’azur sea side ( Cassis, Bandol ) You can access the Alpe mountains, with ski resorts in winter ( Montagne de Lure – a small ski resort – is about 30 minutes drive . We are at about 10 km from the A51 motorway, which connects to Aix en Provence- Marseille, cote d ‘azur, and to Sisteron- Gap *( Alp mountain ). We are about 10 kms from the railway station of Oraison, connected to the TGV Paris - Marseille) And you can also take the Bus Station in Forcalquier ( 5 minutes walk ) to go to Manosque connected to Aix, Marseille, Avignon .
