The cottage was homely and had a feeling of warmth and comfort to it in every room. Traditional not overly modern in any way, positioned in the quaint street it felt like it was a home from home. With all the basics it was clean and cosy.

Our lovely cottage is situated in he quiet village of Edern a short walk from Morfa Nefyn, Lynn Peninsula, North Wales. The cottage is two bedroom, huge garden, summer house and has a traditional feel. We're in the perfect location for walking, hiking and relaxing. There's plenty of pubs, lots of dog friendly sandy beaches, water sports and activities to keep you busy. Or enjoy relaxing in the garden. It's a quiet village with pub at the end of the lane and the famous Wales Coastal path just a short walk away. There is an open plan lounge diner, with plenty of room to sit four people round the table and separate kitchen with all modern amenities including oven, stove, microwave, washing machine. Upstairs there is a large family bathroom with over bath electric shower, mirror and electric shave point. The main bedroom has a super king-size bed (which can be split to make twin beds on request), smart TV with Netflix/Disney/BBC and DVD. The second bedroom has full size fixed bunk beds (suitable for kids & adults). Armchair for reading or gaming. Both bedrooms have room for a travel cot (provided on request). We also have a click clack sofa bed (suitable for kids only) in the lounge (extra bedding available on request). Through the kitchen or down a side alleyway outside leads to a gated, private garden. Mature shrubs and lawns takes you through the jasmin archway to a secret Summer House! Relax in the all day sunshine in the peace and quiet. Or have a family BBQ using the family garden furniture. We are very dog friendly and welcome all dogs. We politely ask you to bring your own dog beds, towels and blankets. At the end of the lane there is a small shop. 1 mile walk up the road or across fields takes you to the sandy Porthdinallaen beach, 2 cafes, shops and 2 pubs. Within 20 mins drive, at Nefyn has a larger Spa shop, Pharmacy, cafes, take aways and more pubs. See our Guest File in the cottage for plenty of places to eat and visit.
We enjoyed holidays here in North Wales as children and continue to love the area! Our cottage is very special to us. We love to share our home with you, so you can also enjoy the delights of the area. Wonderful scenery, wildlife, walks and sports are on your doorstep. Plus amazing dog and family friendly pubs, restaurants and take aways. Please contact us if you have any special requests.
This is a quiet neighborhood with amazing coastal walks, beaches and views. There are plenty of dog and family friendly pubs in the area, all listed in our guide in the cottage. The closest pub is The Ship at the end of our lane about 2 minutes walk away. A short 15 minutes walk up the road takes you to Porthdinallaen beach, a National Trust area, sandy and dog friendly, perfect for water sports with the famous Ty Coch pub on the beach and the Cliffs Inn. A short drive to Nefyn with several bars, restaurants and shops. And amazing, huge, sandy beach! Also follow the Coastal Path for amazing views and hikes.
