The property was very well equipped, had literally everything we needed, it was one of the best cottages that we have ever stayed in - location wise, cleanliness wise, comfort wise etc. The double bed is mega comfy!!

40 The Gill is a gorgeous two-bedroom holiday home situated on The Gill in the market town of Ulverston, less than a 5-minute walk from the lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. The house was fully refurbished in 2023/early 2024; the owners have sympathetically retained many of the original features, such as the grey slate floor and the spice cupboard (now housing books and board games), to make a cosy home from home for friends or family. Business travellers would also benefit from the proximity to BAE in Barrow-in-Furness. The house has two floors above ground, with a cosy living room and well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, two lovely bedrooms, a large bathroom, and a utility cupboard housing the washing machine and tumble dryer on the first floor. 1x dog permitted.
