Our semi-detached stone cottage is 250-years old and a farm-hand's living accommodation originally. We have refurbished this property ourselves and have worked hard to create a place that is a really peaceful and a beautiful place to enjoy for time to yourself. We welcome families and couples seeking a quiet retreat or base for exploring the surrounding countryside. This property is unsuitable for groups who may cause noise as we have residential neighbours. The property comprises of a lounge area with log burner, a large kitchen with large fridge freezer and electric range cooker. There is a conservatory to the front with a dining table and chairs with a view of the bird feeder. There is a conservatory to the rear with a small sofa and a view of the rear garden with also has more feeders and garden furniture to enjoy lots of different aspects of the garden and countryside view. We have a brick BBQ to enjoy in the summer months. Upstairs we have a main bedroom with super-king handmade bed, handmade built in furniture and a TV. Bedroom two has two single beds. There is a bathroom upstairs with shower and bath, and downstairs there is a utility room with extra toilet and washing machine.
My name is Sarah and I am an ex-running coach and Muay Thai boxer who enjoys multiple sports and training in the gym. I have a love of the great outdoors and enjoy walking in the trails.
We have quiet countryside and farmland surrounding the cottage. We have one set of adjoining neighbours who are residents and therefore we request anyone booking this cottage respect or quiet hours and the peace of the area.
